Our kids have officially lost it! Just kidding...I think it's us (parents)...just kidding again!Lately our kids have been "cashing in" their free time to spend it on the computer to play "Webkinz" or "Pop tropica". Well, Saturday after their chores guess what? They wanted to play on the computer...As parents we agreed that they needed a break from their computer addiction and get out and get some fresh air. It was a beautiful day!
If you have ever read to your kids "If you give a mouse a cookie" by Laura Joffe Numeroff, you will get the gist of what I'm about to say...
If you give your kids the idea to do something other than playing on the computer they will come up with another activity. Tia wanted to go swimming. Which made Jonathan want to go too.
They got their swim suits on. Seeing Jonathan in his cute island print swim trunks made me think of the beach and surfing - Surf's Up Dude! After mentioning that to Ty he then took his surfboard off the wall and set it up outside and took these cute pictures of the kids. Love it!
When it comes to sports - YES, Ty surfs too!
And yes the kids went swimming. Thanks McGills!

I can't believe it's warm enough for you to be in swimsuits! Jealous. :) Looks like tons of fun though.
Jonathon and Tia look so dang cute lawn surfing. Way to ride those blades of grass!
