"Island news"

Like I mentioned in an older post, my sister and I went home "Tahiti" to see our father & family. Our Dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (cancer) a few months ago.
Before we left, there was a ray of hope...the cancer had stopped spreading and Dad's liver and kidneys were fine after the several blasts of chemo.

However, we got an email yesterday informing us that our Dad is back in the hospital!
He was admitted Monday June 30th. His leg is swollen again and he's in pain.
After a leg scan, the doc' found that the tumor they reduced/zapped unfortunately is still there and active! So that's what is causing all the pain and swelling.

Solution: our Dad was given another blast of chemo. The doc's prediction doesn't sound good but we are still hoping for a miracle. Dad is staying positive despite the set back.
Sorry this is brief but that's all we know for now. We have to be patient.

Thank you.
